Hotel Marcel New Haven, Tapestry Collection By Hilton holds LEED Platinum certification and is expected to become the first Passive House-certified hotel in the United States. The building operates on a zero fossil fuel model with all-electric systems for heating, cooling, and cooking. Its architecture was designed by Marcel Breuer, preserving the original Bauhaus style from the 1969 Pirelli tire factory.
